6/6/2023 0 Comments Louis vuitton monogramIt took him two years to reach Paris, picking up odd jobs on the way to help finance himself, he reach the city of love at the peak of the industrial revolution at age 16. In the spring of 1853, a 14-year old Vuitton ran away from home and began his journey to Paris on foot. Before all of this however, Vuitton grew up in a he avily wooded area 300 miles outside of Paris. This worked well for Vuitton as it gave him a gateway to elite French clientele. In 1852 he was hired as Napoleon’s wife’s box maker and packer. The man himself, Louis Vuitton, is quite a legend.
